2. Confidentiality and Privilege

 

The e-mail may contain confidential, private, legally privileged, or otherwise protected information. If you are not the intended recipient (or their authorized representative), you must:

 

i. Notify the sender immediately and delete the e-mail from your system;

 

ii. Refrain from printing, copying, forwarding, or disclosing any information in the e-mail; and

 

iii. Refrain from reading, storing, selling, or using the information for any purpose, including incorporation into databases or mailing lists for marketing or spam.

 

Failure to comply may constitute unlawful interception, copyright infringement, or violation of privacy, exposing you to criminal or civil liability.

a. An e-mail is deemed sent once reflected as “sent” in Thubela & Khumalo’s mail server logs;

 

b. An e-mail is deemed received (but not read) once reflected as “received” in the mail server logs
